Dryer Vent Cleaning Service
Reliable Services, Quality Results
Hundreds and even thousands of structural fires occur every year due to clothes dryers. It’s estimated that those fires cost more than $100M of property loss each year—along with deaths and injuries. Clogged dryer vent is the most common cause of dryer fires. This problem can be prevented with proper and regular cleaning.
What is Dryer Vent Cleaning and why you should care?
Every homeowner should be know when was the last time their dryer vent was cleaned out. When hiring a technician to take care of your dryer vent cleaning, you can rest assured that they will remove the lint and other debris that could become clogged in the venting system and cause fires.
We utilize special tools to force air inside your dryer vent, carefully cleaning out your venting system without leaving any mess behind.
How Often Should You Clean a Dryer Vent?
You’ll want to have your dryer vent cleaned and carefully inspected once every 3 to 12 months. Larger households should schedule periodic inspections to determine how long they should go between dryer vent cleanings. When you do laundry less frequently, scheduling dryer vent cleaning once a year is most likely sufficient.
Remember: Even as you clean your lint trap often, not all the lint from your laundry may be removed. In fact, about 20-25 percent of the lint from your clothes is collected by the lint trap you slide out of the front of your dryer. What does this mean? It means the rest is building up in the dryer vent system, restricting airflow and causing your dryer to work harder. As a result, your dryer may start being less efficient causing higher monthly energy bills and be at risk of a fire.
